Nokia Supports Vi’s 5G Launch and 4G Expansion Goals

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has partnered with Nokia to accelerate its 5G rollout and expand its 4G network coverage across India. Nokia will deploy 3,300 new sites and upgrade over 42,000 existing technology locations, enhancing data capacity and user experience. The collaboration is part of Vi’s $3.6 billion investment plan to modernize its infrastructure and achieve a 4G population coverage target of 1.1 billion by March 2025, with plans to extend it to 1.2 billion. As Vi prepares for its phased 5G launch this month, the partnership with Nokia ensures seamless connectivity and improved service quality for millions of users.
