NTPC Achieves COD for 37.93 MW at Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat

In a key step toward its renewable energy growth plans, NTPC Ltd informed the exchanges that it has achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) for 37.925 MW out of the total capacity at its Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat, effective December 17, 2025.

The Khavda project is part of NTPC’s broader initiative to scale up its solar power portfolio and support India’s transition to sustainable energy sources. The newly operational capacity will contribute to green energy generation in western India, bolstering both state and national renewable targets.
