Oberoi Group Unveils Ambitious Expansion with Twin Luxury Resorts in Rishikesh

The Oberoi Group has plans to build two luxury resorts in Rishikesh, a major expansion of its luxury portfolio. The development features an 80-room Oberoi "Vilas" resort and a 120-room Trident hotel, both on a vast 60-acre property along the Ganges. World-renowned architect Bill Bensley will design the properties, merging luxury with the region's natural beauty. The resorts, which are being developed in association with The Ladhani Group, are set to break ground in early 2026. This growth fits into EIH Ltd's larger growth plan of 19 other properties by 2029, further solidifying Oberoi's dedication to developing exceptional hospitality experiences in extraordinary locations.
