One97 Communications Shows Resilience Amidst Q3 Losses

One97 Communications, the parent company of Paytm, reported a net loss of ₹208.5 crore for Q3 FY25, a notable improvement from the previous year's loss of ₹221.7 crore. Despite a 35.87% year-on-year decline in revenue to ₹1,827.8 crore, the company achieved a 10% sequential growth, driven by a rise in Payments Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and enhanced financial services. Analysts remain optimistic, highlighting available levers for future growth and cost optimization strategies that could bolster earnings moving forward.
