OnePlus Nord CE 5 Set for India Launch Following BIS Certification

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards, signaling its imminent arrival in the Indian market. This mid-range smartphone is expected to bring notable upgrades, including a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, a high-refresh-rate OLED display, and a significantly larger battery capacity.  

The device is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and an immersive viewing experience. The design is expected to incorporate flat edges and a vertically aligned camera setup, resembling the aesthetics of premium flagship models.  

One of the standout features of the Nord CE 5 is its battery. Reports suggest it will house a massive 7,100mAh battery, the largest ever seen in a OnePlus device, with support for 80W fast charging. This upgrade is expected to provide extended usage time, catering to users who demand long-lasting performance.  

In terms of optics, the smartphone is likely to sport a dual-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The front-facing camera is expected to be a 16-megapixel shooter, ideal for selfies and video calls.  

Pricing speculation suggests the Nord CE 5 will be positioned under 25,000 rupees, making it a competitive option in the mid-range segment. Given the previous Nord CE 4 launched at 24,999 rupees, this pricing aligns with OnePlus' strategy of offering feature-packed devices at accessible price points.
