Operation Clean Slate: States Unite to Wipe Out Illegal Mining Menace

Jammu and Kashmir's Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary made a promise to act against illegal drug mafias and mining. In Hyderabad, CM Revanth Reddy issued strict orders, including round-the-clock inspections and raids on overloaded vehicles. The Punjab government, under the leadership of Minister Harjot Bains, has also launched a campaign against illegal mining. These across-the-board measures are meant to safeguard natural resources, raise revenues for the state, and uproot organized crime syndicates that operate illegal mining operations.
