Paytm Gets 'Perplexed'—A Match Made in 'Pay' Heaven!

Paytm, India's fintech behemoth, has allied with AI firm Perplexity to onboard AI-driven search functions into its application. Paytm is eyeing financial inclusion and literacy of millions of its users through live, AI-backed information. Through the alliance, users will get the ability to ask queries, read about issues in local language, and take data-driven investment choices. Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma highlighted how AI is changing information access and decision-making. Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas was upbeat about delivering authentic, real-time answers to millions. This initiative is a huge step towards harnessing AI for making digital transactions easier and giving personalized financial help, in sync with India's expanding digital economy and rising demand for instant and reliable financial knowledge.
