Pierre Poilievre: Poised to Lead Canada into a New Era

Pierre Poilievre, age 45 and the new Conservative Party of Canada leader, would become Canada's next prime minister as soon as Justin Trudeau tendered his resignation. An elected Member of Parliament since 2004, the man's stance on key matters like inflation, housing, and government spending brought him much attention for the wrong reason. For these reasons, Canadians appreciated his plan for repealing carbon tax and making significant cuts to a bloated spending program. That makes the policies he introduces bound to reflect quite a radical swing in Canadian political affairs.
