PM Modi Champions Education Tourism and Skill Development

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the potential of education tourism and skill development during a post-budget webinar. He highlighted the need for a comprehensive roadmap to harness the sector's potential, urging stakeholders to invest in promoting education tourism. Modi stressed the importance of industry-academia collaboration and practical learning opportunities for youth. The PM also outlined government initiatives, including skill training for 3 crore youth since 2014, upgrading 1,000 ITIs, and establishing five Centers of Excellence. With a focus on aligning education with 21st-century needs, Modi emphasized the integration of technology and AI in learning. He called for swift implementation of budget provisions to maximize benefits for the people.
