PM Modi Eager to Meet "Friend" Trump, Aims to Strengthen US-India Ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed enthusiasm for his upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump during his visit to Washington on February 12-13, 2025. Modi emphasized the opportunity to build upon their previous collaboration and develop an agenda to elevate the US-India partnership. The visit will focus on crucial sectors including technology, trade, defense, and energy. Modi fondly recalled working with Trump during his first term to establish a Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership between the two nations.
