PM Modi to Meet Trump in Crucial US Visit Next Week, Energy and Defense on Agenda

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make an official visit to the United States on February 12-13, 2025, marking his first meeting with President Donald Trump since the latter's second term inauguration. The two-day working visit will focus on strengthening bilateral ties, with energy and defense cooperation high on the agenda. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri emphasized the visit's significance, highlighting the bipartisan support for India-US relations. Modi will also engage with business leaders and the Indian community during his stay.
