Polling Prowess: ECI Preps Booth Agents for Election Success!

The Election Commission of India (ECI) made a statement declaring intentions to start training for Booth Level Agents (BLAs), who are the political party's major representatives. This action seeks to reinforce their knowledge of the preparation of electoral rolls as well as the submission of claims and objections. With more than one million polling stations across the country, ECI training will enable BLAs to perform effectively in aiding Booth Level Officers in the special summary revision of the electoral rolls. Political parties have welcomed this, consenting to sending representatives to undergo training. The ECI has also sought suggestions from all political parties on electoral processes, with April 30, 2025, as the deadline.
