Power Lunch for a Purpose: Bhopal Businesses Serve Up Nutrition Action on World Nutrition Day 2025

On World Nutrition Day 2025, the top companies in Bhopal came together under the Impact4Nutrition (I4N) initiative to promote nutrition efforts aimed at building healthier communities. Partnering with UNICEF and the I4N Madhya Pradesh Secretariat, the campaign encouraged businesses to make real commitments to enhance nutrition in both workplaces and communities, with a particular emphasis on women’s health and breaking the stigma surrounding menstrual hygiene through the #MeriThaliSehatWali and Red Dot Challenge campaigns.

 

The event featured engaging sessions and expert discussions that underscored the crucial role businesses have in improving public health. Corporate leaders pledged to weave nutrition awareness into their company cultures, advocate for balanced diets, and support nutrition programs led by the government and NGOs. The Red Dot Challenge specifically sought to destigmatize menstrual health, fostering open conversations and better hygiene practices in workplaces and beyond.

 

Impact4Nutrition’s collaborative strategy taps into the resources and reach of the private sector to enhance the effectiveness of nutrition initiatives, particularly for vulnerable populations. This initiative aligns with national goals to combat malnutrition, address micronutrient deficiencies, and encourage healthy eating habits among employees and their families.
