As Power Grid Corporation prepares to announce its third-quarter earnings on February 3, analysts predict a muted performance, with net profit expected to rise by only 0.6% year-on-year to approximately ₹3,946 crore. Revenue is anticipated to drop by 1.3% compared to the previous year, totaling around ₹11,386 crore. Factors such as reduced power demand and weak capitalisation are likely to impact results. Despite this, some brokerages remain optimistic about future growth opportunities in interstate transmission projects.
