Lucknow Development Authority is illuminating Husainabad's future with a new electric vehicle charging station located next to the ancient Rumi Gate food court, where green mobility comes together with the city's heritage in perfect harmony. Concurrently, "Lazeez Gali," a food street near Ghanta Ghar, will soon serve Awadhi cuisine from 15–20 heritage-themed kiosks and become a unique destination for foodies and green travelers alike. The initiative has the objective of attracting residents and tourists both with easy EV charging along with Lucknow's famous food and culture. Authorities confirm the tendering process is over, with the food street and charging station construction having already been started. The re-makeover of the heritage area also includes a new museum block and library to further the attractiveness of Husainabad as a habitable, accessible, and sustainable downtown area.
