The spurt is part of the overall strategy of achieving net-zero emissions by 2070, which would require an estimated total investment of Rs 31 lakh crore in green initiatives during the same period. The focus will be on renewable energy and storage, with significant allocations for transport and oil sectors. This ambitious plan underlines India's commitment to sustainable development and climate action.
