Powering the Future: GameChange Solar’s Genius Tracker™ Optimized for 2kV Projects

Intertek certified that GameChange Solar's Genius Tracker™ system is compatible with 2,000-volt (2kV) solar applications. This certification came on the heels of Genius Tracker™ being successfully deployed to a 5-megawatt project in the Southeastern USA, which used two kilovolts electrical systems. By advancing the current technologies from a 1,500V to a 2kV system, these systems improve electrical efficiency via lower voltage drop, thereby permitting more energy to reach inverters and also use of value-for-money materials. The testing performed under the UL 2703 standard by Intertek provided evidence that Genius Tracker™ does not require any further modification for 2kV system compatibility, marking a further advance to high-voltage solar solutions.
