The new prices, effective April 14, 2025, apply to both the PS5 Digital Edition and the standard PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive in regions including Europe, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of the Middle East and Africa. However, Indian gamers can breathe a sigh of relief as the price adjustments do not extend to the Indian market.

 

In India, the PS5 Digital Edition is priced at ₹44,990, while the standard PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive costs ₹49,990. These prices remain unchanged, ensuring continued accessibility to the console in one of the world's fastest-growing gaming markets.

 

In Europe, the PS5 Digital Edition now costs €499.99, while in the UK, it is priced at £429.99. Australian gamers will pay AUD $749.95 for the Digital Edition and AUD $829.95 for the standard PS5. Meanwhile, the US market remains unaffected by these changes, and the higher-spec PS5 Pro console retains its current pricing globally.
