Pyramid Technoplast Ltd has officially commenced operations at its newly established manufacturing facility in Wada, Maharashtra, marking a major milestone in the company’s expansion strategy.

Key Highlights:

The Wada facility, set up on a 10-acre land parcel in Palghar district, is Pyramid Technoplast’s newest manufacturing unit and will produce polymer drums, Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC), and metal drums.
With the start of operations at Wada, the company’s total production capacity is set to double, significantly enhancing its ability to serve clients across western and southern India more efficiently.
The new unit is being developed in three phases over the next 4–5 years, with a projected total capital expenditure of ₹100 crore.
Upon achieving full capacity utilization across all phases, the Wada unit is expected to generate annual revenues of approximately ₹400 crore, substantially boosting the company’s top line.
The first phase of capex, including land and civil work, is estimated at ₹40–45 crore, with initial production ramp-up planned through 2026 and 2027.

The strategic location of the Wada facility enables Pyramid Technoplast to diversify geographically and optimize logistics, supporting its growing customer base of over 500 clients.

The company has already seen a 19% year-on-year increase in overall volumes in FY24, driven by robust growth in IBCs, metal drums, and HDPE drums.

Management expects the new facility to contribute to improved margins and operational efficiency as raw material prices stabilize and business from the new unit ramps up.

The commencement of operations at the Wada facility positions Pyramid Technoplast for accelerated growth and strengthens its leadership in the industrial packaging sector.
