Q4 Earnings Forecasted to Revitalize Market Outlook, Says ASK Investment's Sandip Bansal

Sandip Bansal believes that the earning reports for the fourth quarter will bring a turnabout in market sentiment: Sales of ASK Investment Managers. While their predictions for the September quarter results may be a little disappointing, nevertheless in subsequent quarters, it is predicted that we will be in an upward trend, dictated by factors such as good monsoons supporting rural revival and increased government expenditure. While cuts could be in store for the FY25 earnings estimates, the markets could focus on FY26 ones. ASK Investment remains highly invested in the consumption space, both in staples and discretionary items. In addition, Bansal highlights that small- and mid-cap valuations could stay high, where fundamentals support strong earnings or long-term growth expectations.
