RailTel bags ₹26.9 crore smart IT order from VOC Chidambaranar Port

RailTel Corporation of India has secured a significant IT infrastructure work order from V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority for implementing “Advanced IT Infrastructure at VOC Port”. The contract is domestic in nature and is to be executed by 15 August 2026, positioning RailTel as a key technology partner in the port’s digital transformation.

The estimated size of the order, as per the Letter of Acceptance (LoA), is ₹26,88,45,563, adding a meaningful boost to RailTel’s order book and reinforcing revenue visibility over the execution period. Management has clarified that the award does not fall under related‑party transactions and that there is no promoter or group company interest in the awarding entity. The work order was formally received on 16 December 2025 at 16:54 hours, as per the company’s disclosure.
