Rapid efforts required to make Railway more modern, secure, efficient": Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has demanded immediate reforms in the Indian Railways to make it more modern, secure, and efficient. At a personal interaction held at the Modern Coach Factory in Raebareli, Gandhi highlighted the significance of growing railways as a robust pillar of production and economy, not merely a transportation mode. He reiteratively pointed out the need to develop indigenous manufacturing capabilities and lower dependence on foreign technology. Gandhi also brought to the limelight the ability of Indian technicians and engineers in enhancing railway facilities and stimulating the economy.
