Republic Day 2026 preparations are in full swing in Tarn Taran, where the district administration is ensuring a grand celebration. On January 21, a comprehensive rehearsal was held at the Police Stadium, featuring Punjab Police personnel, including women platoons and the police band, alongside Home Guard contingents, NCC cadets, and schoolchildren. The march past was accompanied by cultural programs and a mass PT show, reflecting both discipline and the vibrancy of Punjabi heritage.  

The Additional Deputy Commissioner has been coordinating with officials from all departments to streamline arrangements. Meetings have focused on security, logistics, and cultural programming to ensure smooth execution of the district-level function. The celebrations will align with the national theme of Republic Day 2026, “Vande Mataram, Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” emphasizing self-reliance and prosperity.
