Revolutionizing Cybersecurity: IIT Bhilai’s New Anti-Fraud Solution for UPI and Banking

IIT Bhilai has developed an advanced anti-fraud device designed to bolster security in UPI, e-commerce, and banking transactions. This initiative is part of the institute's focus on financial technologies through the IIT Bhilai Innovation and Technology Foundation (IBITF), established under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). The device aims to detect and prevent financial frauds in taxation, banking, and the stock market, addressing the rising concerns over digital transaction security. This development aligns with the Reserve Bank of India's guidelines emphasizing the need for robust fraud prevention mechanisms in banks to combat the increasing number of UPI fraud cases.
