Revving Up Equality: Delhi's Women Bikers Roar for Change

In a unique display of women's empowerment, over 100 female motorcyclists took to the streets in a colorful rally in Delhi today for International Women's Day 2025, organized by the Delhi Women's Motorcycle Club. The rally saw riders of all ages and backgrounds coming together in solidarity to oppose stereotypes and promote gender equality: it began at India Gate and proceeded through various landmarks in the capital, drawing cheers and support from onlookers. Participants donned specially-designed safety gear adorned with empowering slogans, thereby creating quite an impressive spectacle. "'This rally represents the strength and affirmation of women from all spheres of life,"' said Priya Sharma, the event organizer. "'We're breaking barriers and inspiring the next generation of women to not be afraid to pursue what they're passionate about."'
