Rolls-Royce Provides Emergency Power Systems to European Commission

Rolls-Royce has won a major contract to supply mtu emergency power systems to the European Commission in Luxembourg. The firm will deliver two mtu Series 4000 generator sets, each with a peak capacity of 2,640 kVA, to provide reliable backup power to the Jean Monnet 2 building complex. The complex is part of a large-scale renovation and expansion program to bring together a number of scattered offices of the European Commission. The mtu gensets will provide backup power to critical infrastructure, allowing the necessary equipment to continue operating uninterrupted during outages.
