Sawan Surge: Varanasi’s Divine Monday Draws a Sea of Devotion

The Hindu heartbeat of Varanasi pulsed with devotion on July 21 as thousands of pilgrims thronged to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to mark the second Monday of the holy month of Sawan. With Har Har Mahadev and Om Namah Shivaya chants, the temple witnessed a sea of Kanwariyas and pilgrims offering Gangajal and prayers to Lord Shiva.
