Scammers are sending fake KYC update links via WhatsApp, leading to a poorly designed website riddled with spelling errors. The fake site, hosted on Wix, asks for sensitive information including credit card details. Observant users noticed glaring mistakes like "Expari date" and "Intar OTP," prompting jokes about the scammer's need for English lessons. SBI officials remind customers that they never request KYC updates through embedded links in SMS or emails. Customers are urged to report suspicious messages to report.phishing@sbi.co.in or call the cybercrime helpline at 1930.
