Scrubbing the Streets, Now Scrubbing Their Health: Anna Nagar's Sanitation Staff Get Vital Check-ups

n a very significant step towards the betterment of the health of sanitation workers, a health check-up camp was organized today in Anna Nagar. With this program, emphasis was given to the welfare of these essential workers through a variety of important screenings, such as blood pressure, diabetes, and the eye. Keeping in mind the occupational hazards faced by these sanitation workers, specialized screenings for skin disorders and orthopedic problems were also carried out during the camp. Distribution of free medicines and referral of patients to local hospitals for further treatment was done. This initiative not only provides benefits for the workers in question, but is also promissory to bringing about cleaner, healthier communities in Anna Nagar.
