"She-Wolf of Stock Market" Banned: SEBI Cracks Down on YouTuber Asmita Patel

Asmita Patel, a popular YouTuber and self-proclaimed "She-Wolf of Stock Market," has been banned by SEBI for providing unregistered investment advice. The market regulator impounded Rs 53.67 crore from Patel and her associates, alleging they ran illegal advisory services masked as educational courses. Patel, known for her substantial social media following, offered paid trading programs through her Global School of Trading. SEBI's action comes after complaints from 42 investors who claimed to have lost money following her stock tips. The ban extends to Patel's company and five other entities involved in the scheme.
