Shubhanshu Shukla Among Five Awardees of UP Gaurav Samman for Contributions Across Diverse Fields

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced the Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman 2026, recognizing five distinguished personalities for their contributions in diverse fields. Honorees include Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla, who made history by reaching the International Space Station, alongside leaders in education, literature, women empowerment, and agriculture. The awards were presented during UP Diwas celebrations in Lucknow.

The state of Uttar Pradesh celebrated its annual UP Diwas 2026 with the conferment of the prestigious Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman to five luminaries who have brought pride to the state at national and international levels. The ceremony was held at the newly constructed Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow, inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
