Signify and Dixon Technologies Join Forces in 50:50 Joint Venture for Lighting Excellence

Signify NV, a global leader in lighting, and Dixon Technologies, a prominent Indian electronics manufacturer, have announced a strategic partnership to form a joint venture. This collaboration aims to revolutionize the manufacturing of lighting products and accessories in India. Both companies will hold an equal 50% equity stake in the newly formed entity.
The joint venture will focus on Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) of a wide range of lighting products, including LED bulbs, downlights, and other accessories. This partnership aligns with the Indian government's "Make in India" initiative, emphasizing local manufacturing and innovation. By leveraging Signify's expertise in lighting technologies and Dixon's manufacturing prowess, the venture aims to deliver high-quality, cost-competitive lighting solutions for both domestic and international markets.
