Six Months to Success: Bharath's Tomato Processing Dream Takes Shape

Andhra Pradesh's Food Processing Minister, T.G. Bharath, made an announcement stating that a tomato processing unit in Kurnool will be ready in six months. The processing unit, established in Pathikonda mandal, will process tomatoes into ketchup and deal with mangoes and guavas during off-seasons. With an investment of Rs 11 crore, it will give more favorable prices to local tomato cultivators and also generate employment. Bharath, a main architect behind the state's agriculture development plans, stressed that the government was dedicated to the welfare of farmers through such programs.
