Solar Industries India Boosts Liquidity with ₹750 Million Commercial Paper Issue

Solar Industries India Limited, a leading explosives manufacturer, has announced the issuance of commercial paper worth ₹750 million on February 20, 2025. The short-term debt instrument, with a 35-day tenure and 7.50% coupon rate, is set to mature on March 27, 2025. This strategic move comes on the heels of the company's strong Q3 FY25 performance, where it reported a 55% year-on-year increase in net profit. The commercial paper issuance is expected to enhance Solar Industries' working capital position, supporting its robust order book of ₹7,122 crore and ongoing expansion in the defense sector.
