Solar Industries' Subsidiary Clinches Massive ₹239 Billion Defence Contract

Solar Industries India Limited's subsidiary, Economic Explosive Limited (EEL), has secured a landmark ₹239 billion (₹23,900 crore) contract from the Ministry of Defence. This agreement, the largest in the company's history, involves supplying advanced munitions for the Pinaka Multiple Launcher Rocket System over 8-15 years. The deal significantly bolsters Solar Industries' position in India's defence sector and aligns with the nation's push for self-reliance in military manufacturing. This contract follows recent export orders worth ₹2,150 crore, showcasing the company's growing prominence in both domestic and international defence markets.
