Sony Compensates PlayStation Plus Users After Major Network Outage

The disruption, which lasted nearly 24 hours from February 7 to 8, 2025, affected millions of users worldwide, preventing access to online gaming, digital purchases, and even some offline games. Sony attributed the outage to an "operational issue" but has not provided specific details about the cause.
