Sridhar Vembu Steps Down as Zoho CEO, Embraces Chief Scientist Role

In a significant leadership shift, Sridhar Vembu, the co-founder and long-time CEO of Zoho Corporation, has stepped down from his position to become the company's Chief Scientist. This transition allows Vembu to concentrate on deep research and development initiatives, particularly in artificial intelligence and rural development. He expressed his commitment to navigating the challenges ahead, stating, "The future of our company entirely depends on how well we navigate the R&D challenge." Co-founder Shailesh Kumar Davey will succeed him as Group CEO.
