Tap, Register, Empower: Delhi Launches Groundbreaking Mahila Samman Mobile App

The Delhi government will introduce a mobile application to enable the Mahila Samman Scheme, which offers ₹2,500 per month to deserving women. The scheme will benefit economically weaker women in Delhi. The scheme opened for registration on March 8, which was International Women's Day. The application process will be simplified and made more accessible through the app. The program is likely to benefit 15-20 lakh women in the city, with money credited directly into their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer.
