Tata Chemicals and Rallis India Win Innovation Award in Agriculture

Tata Chemicals Limited and Rallis India Limited together won the coveted Aegis Graham Bell Award in the 'Innovation in Agriculture' segment at the 15th annual awards function organized in New Delhi. The award is a testament to their innovative efforts in machine learning-based genomic data analysis and hybrid prediction, which has considerably hastened crop development. The award was presented by Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary, recognizing the efforts of the companies to improve agricultural productivity, resource use efficiency, and environmental sustainability. This award, backed by important Indian government ministries, emphasizes the critical role played by innovation in transforming agriculture and making food secure for generations to come, as part of India's vision for a tech-oriented and sustainable farming industry.
