Tata Power's TP Solar Clinches ₹632 Crore SECI Contract for Domestic Solar Modules

TP Solar, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has secured a significant contract worth ₹632 crore from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The company will supply 292.5 MWp of domestically produced solar modules for a project in Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh. This contract, part of SECI's 400 MWp tender under the CPSU Scheme Tranche-III, reinforces India's commitment to renewable energy and self-reliance in solar manufacturing. The modules are set to be delivered between October 2025 and January 2026, marking a crucial step in India's clean energy transition. Despite this positive development, Tata Power's stock closed at ₹339.25 on the BSE, down 1.18%8.
