On National Science Day 2025, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav declared the intention to set up a "Science City" in the state. The move is intended to promote innovation and scientific research, as per the theme of the day, "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation." The declaration reflects the state's resolve to promote STEM education and provide opportunities for young scientists.
