The Great Food Delivery Dispute: NRAI Challenges Zomato and Swiggy's Market Monopoly!

Restaurants in India are up in arms against the recent launch of 10-minute food delivery apps Bistro and Snacc by Zomato and Swiggy. The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) said these platforms are undermining fair competition by using their market dominance to introduce private-label products, which threatens the survival of many restaurants. NRAI President Sagar Daryani said that "consumer masking" is a concern as restaurants do not have access to critical customer data. The association will escalate its grievances to the regulatory authorities, and it emphasizes the need for ethical practices in the food delivery sector.
