The Hub Effect: How Regional Airports Will Transform India's Aviation

India is investigating the growth of regional airport hubs to improve traffic growth and connectivity. The vision is consistent with the government aim of growing operating airports to 200 by 2025 by investing ₹92,000 crore in infrastructure. Regional hubs will be responsible for connecting small towns and cities and developing economic and tourism growth. The UDAN scheme has already linked 88 airports, and the expansion will be further aimed at making air travel affordable and accessible to everyone. The scheme will revolutionize India's aviation sector, making it a world leader in air connectivity.
