The IKEA Effect: How Sweden's Favorite Furniture Brand is Redefining North India's Homes!

From March 1, 2025, IKEA will transform home furnishing in North India through its online delivery facility. The Swedish company will service Delhi-NCR and nine satellite towns such as Agra, Amritsar, and Lucknow. There are more than 7,000 products accessible via the IKEA app, website, and call support. For facilitating this expansion, IKEA has inaugurated a 180,000 sq ft central distribution facility in Gurugram. The firm aspires to become sustainable, proposing to make use of electric cars for all north deliveries. The initiative is a strategic foray by IKEA into India's biggest home furnishings market, and the firm promises physical stores at Gurugram and Noida in the future.
