The Road Ahead is Green: Swami Vivekananda University’s Solar Hybrid Car Patent Leads the Way

In a significant development, Swami Vivekananda University has revealed that it has submitted a patent application for its hybrid solar electric car, so an important contribution to sustainable transportation technology is emerging in light of climate change efforts and decreasing reliance on fossil fuels globally.

 

The hybrid solar electric car combines innovative solar energy systems with traditional automotive technologies to produce a vehicle that is environmentally sustainable and efficient. The hybrid solar electric car has high-efficiency photovoltaic panels, a smart energy management system and a hybrid powertrain that guarantees optimal performance under varying conditions. With this project, the university envisions addressing some of the major issues facing the electric vehicle sector, namely range anxiety and charging related infrastructure challenges. 

 

The research and development of the project were conducted by a multidisciplinary team of scholars at Swami Vivekananda University demonstrating their commitment to an innovative culture based on the renewable energy and sustainable mobility approaches of transportation. This initiative also reinforces the growing importance of bridging the space between academic knowledge and applied research.

 

This patent is also expected to lead to new partnerships with industry leaders and government agencies that may lead to commercialization of this work in the not too distant future. The university's work contributes to India's evolution as a leading center for green technology innovation.
