The Suspension Saga Ends: WFI Back in Business

The Sports Ministry has lifted the suspension of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and reinstated its National Sports Federation (NSF) status for wrestling. The move comes after corrective actions by the WFI, which includes the requirement to reverse changes made during suspension and uphold balanced decision-making processes. The ministry has instructed the WFI to implement these alterations within four weeks and remain transparent in making selections of athletes. Sanjay Singh, a Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh aide, will be in total charge of the federation.
