The show on SonyLIV investigates the conspiracies surrounding the tragic incident but does not live up to its emotional potential. While its earnest endeavor to reveal the atrocities of colonialism, the show's non-linear storytelling and courtroom drama tends to be jarring and over-the-top. The performances of the cast, such as Taaruk Raina and Nikita Dutta, are sincere, but the narrative is lackluster and hence a good watch for aficionados of history but not an inspiring story of patriotism.
