The WebKit Warning: How Apple Saved Millions from a Sophisticated Threat

Apple has rolled out emergency security patches to address a zero-day flaw in WebKit, designated as CVE-2025-24201. The vulnerability, which was taken advantage of in "highly sophisticated" attacks, enables malicious web content to break out of the Web Content sandbox. The issue is present in iPhones, iPads, and Macs, especially those running iOS versions below iOS 17.2. Apple has released iOS 18.3.2, iPadOS 18.3.2, macOS Sequoia 15.3.2, and Safari 18.3.1 updates to patch the issue. Users should update their devices as soon as possible to avoid possible attacks.
