Key Features of the India-UK FTA

The FTA removes the 8–12% UK import duty on textiles and garments, placing Indian exporters on par with Bangladesh and giving them a 12% tariff advantage over China.
99% of Indian exports, including textiles, will now enter the UK duty-free, covering almost the entire trade value between the two nations.
The agreement is anticipated to increase bilateral trade by £25.5 billion and potentially grow India's textile exports to the UK by $1 billion.
