According to the petition, Parshottamdas deviated from protocol by staying at Sagarika Tourist Lodge in Diamond Harbour on April 20, 2026, instead of the IPS Mess in Alipore. It is alleged that the meeting with BJP candidate Gour Ghosh took place at this lodge.  

Evidence Submitted  

TMC claims to have annexed CCTV footage of the alleged meeting as evidence. The party insists that the observer’s conduct violates the principles of neutrality and transparency expected from Election Commission-appointed officials.
